Impetus Fitness Brand is a wholly Nigerian company founded in August 2017 by Tunde Amadi, a lawyer by profession with a keen interest in physical fitness and wellness in general.
The company also produces and markets active apparels. Headquartered in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, our services and products are designed for consumers with active lifestyles and sold through our walk-in store situated at No. 7 Oroma Close, Off Olu Obasanjo Road. Port Harcourt.

Company History
Impetus Fitness Brand was registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2017 and our Trademark application was approved in 2018 by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
Our founder, Barr Tunde Amadi is a self-taught yoga practitioner with copious amount of years’ experience in the health and fitness industry.
Our main focus initially was in fitness and wellness, achieved through strength and cardiovascular training, as well as yoga for the mind and soul.
We then quickly established our merchandise arm after our clients started demanding the same branded shirts and gear our Founder and then Coach Barr Tunde Amadi had on in training sessions.
From our regular branded premium t-shirts, we expanded
production to joggers, hoodies, tracksuits, headgear and now footwear in form of slides.
Visual Identity
Our brand logo is a minimalist image that stands out from others.
It’s the image of our founder in a yoga pose (tree asana) standing on one foot with his hands straight up together and the other foot on the knee of the standing foot. This pose depicts “balance and stability.”
Our initial color palette was just black and white until we incorporated more bolder and brighter colors to satisfy our
customers needs and to enhance the brand image.

- Gym & Fitness Services: Our gym offers a variety of fitness solutions tailored for age and gender. We have an Olympian as our head coach with a wide experience in health, fitness and general wellbeing. We also have different categories of sessions ranging from personal training, group fitness sessions and the corporate wellness programs designed to improve employee performance and productivity.
- Active Apparels: Featuring moisture wicking fabrics and eco-friendly designs for maximum comfort and mobility.
- Footwear: Our premium branded Impetus Slides are engineered with advanced cushioning and comfort. Made entirely from recycled tyres in line with our sustainable goals.
